The PSRML is funding several locations in NCNMLG territory to host the MLA webcast  Leveraging Mobile Technologies for Health Sciences Libraries.

The webcast takes place Wednesday, April 18th, from11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the following locations:
1. Kaiser Permanente
Promenade Medical Offices
Conference Room #3

10305 Promenade Parkway
Elk Grove, CA 95757

Boxed lunches and salad will be available for $10.00.

If you plan on attending please email: librarycsa@kp.org and include your name, organization and whether or not you plan on joining us for lunch.

2.  Lane Medical Library has kindly offered to set up a hosting site for any NCNMLG members who are interested in attending.

You can view the webinar in room LK130 at the Li Ka Shing Center on the Stanford campus.  The webinar airs from 11 am – 1 pm, and the room will be open from 10 am – 1:45 pm, so people can chat before and after.

Some nearby spots for food are:

Breakfast – Med Café (in the Li Ka Shing Center) – http://www.stanford.edu/dept/rde/cgi-bin/drupal/hospitality/med-cafe

Lunch – Nexus (in the Clark Center) – http://biox.stanford.edu/clark/nexus.html

Probably the most affordable and convenient place to park is at the hospital parking structure on Pasteur Drive.  People travelling on CalTrain can take the free Marguerite shuttle (X from the station, Y to the station), which drops off right by Lane Library.  There is also a CalTrain parking lot at the station for those who want to drive, park, and take the shuttle.

If you are planning on attending — please notify Sandee Brekke at brekke@stanford.edu.  Thanks!
