Darling Biomedical Library has been awarded the NN\/LM Services contract for the Pacific Southwest Region. \u00a0The announcement was made by Julie Kwan, Associate Director of the library, and was officially posted on the NLM web site\u00a0on Friday, April 30, 2011.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Five-year contracts were also awarded to seven other institutions throughout the U.S. to\u00a0serve as Regional Medical Libraries (RMLs) in the <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/nnlm.gov\/\" href=\"http:\/\/nnlm.gov\/\">National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN\/LM)<\/a>. The NN\/LM consists of the eight competitively selected Regional Medical Libraries, and over 6,000 health sciences and public libraries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UCLA Louise M.
