As\na fellow of the Medical Library Association (MLA) Research Training Institute\n(RTI) 2019 cohort, I am researching community college health sciences\nlibrarians\u2019 perceptions of Medical Library Association (MLA) competency skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\ndata will be used to fill a gap in the literature about how health sciences\ncommunity college librarians develop librarianship competencies as defined by\nthe Medical Library Association Competencies for Lifelong Learning and\nProfessional Success and will identify any barriers encountered that impede\ntheir development. Learning this may help MLA improve its educational\nofferings, outreach, and value to community college librarians \u2013 a\ntraditionally understudied community of health sciences librarians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The survey should take you approximately 10 \u2013 15\nminutes to complete, with a final submission date of January 31, 2020<\/strong>.
