Hotel and Travel

The nightly rate at the Parc55 Hotel is $189 for all conference attendees. The rate includes free Internet access inside the hotel property.

The hotel is conveniently located just steps from the Powell Street BART station and close to Union Square.

Arrival by Air via San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) provides direct service to Powell Street station from SFO. One way fare is $8.10.

Shuttle vans provide door to door service to the Parc55 Hotel. One way fare is approximately $15, not including tip. See the SFO web site for a list of van services.

Taxi fare is approximately $40 one way, not including tip. Taxis depart from designated taxi zones located at the roadway center islands, on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim level of all terminals.

Arrival by Air via Oakland International Airport (OAK)

BART also provides service to Powell Street from the Coliseum/Oakland Airport station. From the airport, board the AirBART shuttle, located between Terminal 1 and 2 at the third curbside. Then take BART directly to Powell Street station. AirBART fare is $3 one way, BART fare is $3.80 one way.

Arrival by Train:

Amtrak train service is available to San Francisco via Emeryville. Bus shuttles take passengers between Emeryville and curbside stops in San Francisco. The stop closest to the Parc55 is Westfield San Francisco Centre (SFS) at 835 Market, just above Powell Street station.

Caltrain provides commuter rail service along the San Francisco Peninsula, through the South Bay to San Jose and Gilroy. Disembark at the San Francisco 4th and King Street station, then board the N or T streetcar directly across the street. Both streetcars provide direct service to Powell Street, fare is $2 one way. Taxis are also available outside the Caltrain station. The station is approximately 1 mile from the Parc55.

Arrival by Car:

The Parc55 is located at 55 Cyril Magnin Street. Valet parking is available on-property and includes in and out privileges. The rate is $48 per day.

The Mason O'Farrell Garage is 1 block from the Parc55 and costs $29 per day.

The Ellis/O'Farrell Garage is about 2 blocks from the Parc55. Hourly rate is $3.50 per hour up to a max of $38. The web site notes a $15 early bird special for those arriving by 9am and departing by 7pm. A good choice for those commuting to the meeting.
