Michelle Henley, Coordinator of Instruction and Consultation Services at the Barnett-Briggs Medical Library at San Francisco General Hospital sat down with our bloggers to talk about her nomination for the MLA Nominating Committee. Here is the scoop from the Nov. 30th conversation.

Can you please tell us the position for which you are running?
I am one of the nominees for the MLA nominating committee for 2013/14.

What interested you in the position?
I was actually selected by a board member and I became a nominee through the board.

NCNMLG Business Meeting: 2 Days Left To Register!

Dear Colleagues.

As our Country is approaching the day of the next Presidential election our chapter is feverishly preparing for its next business meeting. Both events will take place on November 6. It is our civil duties to both vote and be active community members.  So on that day please vote and also attend our next meeting at the Delancey Street Foundation. Our  NCNMLG members’ expectations are heightened as this is a very special meeting because the guest of honor will be none other than  Jane Blumenthal, 2012-2013 MLA President.  Jane’s reputation is that she is a dynamic personable speaker, therefore we looking forward to an hour of lively interactive discussion with her.
